The police and the Federal Office for Customs and Border Security (FOCBS) depend on reliable and efficient identity verification as part of their tasks. Fingerprint data plays a central role in this, both in routine checks and in forensic investigations. The framework agreement for the previous devices expires. PTI Switzerland procures a framework agreement with an integrator for the provision, integration and operation of two fingerprint capture systems: a mobile system (scanner on the police officer's smartphone) and a contactless system (app-based capture of fingerprints and facial images via iPhones, connected to MACS/eneXs). The framework agreement is intended to enable the PTI partners (including fedpol, FOCBS, SEM, cantonal and municipal police forces and Swiss representations abroad) to purchase systems and services from the successful bidder.....View Full Tender Details in Tender Documents
