Client: Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG), an institution under public law, is the lead provider of public transport services in the Berlin conurbation. 2. Title of the contract by the contracting authority: Purchase of dummy validators for demonstration purposes by the sales and marketing department. 3. Brief description of the type of services: ID-based sales concepts are being used successfully in other countries - and now also in some pilot regions in Germany. These innovative approaches to the sale of travel authorizations completely reverse the existing process. Until now, passengers have acquired travel authorizations at the BVG at the ticket machine or from the driver before starting the journey.
