Users save points by participating in cultural, sports and other leisure activities. Accumulated points can be exchanged for discounts or other benefits. For those who are struggling financially, the A-card is also a personal discount card that entitles you to a reduced rate. Finally, the A-card is also used as a library card, as a card that can be used to serve the underground sorting streets and as an access card to unmanned sports halls. Points can be saved on various (unmanned) savings kiosks that have been placed throughout the territory of the city of Antwerp, both at urban locations and at partners of the city.
