Detailed Description Non-cash benefit card

The Mobil Krankenkasse intends to grant employees a tax-free non-cash benefit as a voluntary benefit in addition to the salary owed (gross wage). This currently applies to approx. 1,500 employees. The non-cash benefit is to be made available to employees via a card, which is generally topped up monthly as part of the payroll. The card can basically be made available virtually. However, it should be possible to order a physical card in exceptional cases at the request of the employee.
