Description : Fraport AG, as operator of Frankfurt Airport, intends to implement biometric facial recognition for access to the security area in accordance with Section 8. This system, in conjunction with the authorization verification by the existing access control system, will grant access to airport ID card holders. The biometric system verifies that the person requesting access matches the holder of the airport ID card based on a previously recorded biometric feature (face) stored on the card.
