Detailed Description Supply, Maintenance And Support Of Library Automation Solutions: Self-Service Rfid And Unmanned Opening

The Public Library has been investing in the automation of its services for decades and wants to continue to focus on innovation. To this end, it is looking for a sustainable partner who can supply the necessary equipment and relieve the library of the burden of software, maintenance and support.

This assignment includes: -
The supply of hardware for self-service lending/returning, RFID and electronic payment with associated software, training, support and maintenance. -
The supply of hardware for equipping the public areas and back office of the library, if necessary also with associated software, training, support and maintenance. - Solution for the unmanned opening of library branches (without staff present): supply of hardware with associated software, training, support and maintenance. - Supply of security gates tailored to the RFID equipment of the library, with associated support and maintenance. - Solution for registering and reporting on visitor numbers: supply of hardware with associated software, training, support and maintenance. The contractor is also responsible for the installation and implementation of all hardware and software. The Public Library of Bruges currently has 14 branches spread across the territory of the city of Bruges. A current overview of the branches can be found at https://brugge.bibliotheek. be/ (to be supplemented with the library of the Penitentiary Complex Bruges, Legeweg 200, 8200 Bruges). Self-service is currently available in 8 branches. The intention is to gradually expand this to other branches on the one hand and to replace the existing equipment in phases on the other. In addition, the library wants to start opening without library staff present in a number of branches. After evaluation, an expansion to other branches is possible. For a further explanation of the assignment, see part 8. Technical requirements in the selection guide.
